Mike Manila
IDC Staff Instructor
|
Mike’s passion for diving emanated from a family
sailing trip at the British Virgin Islands in 2003. Mike met with Judy
about buying gear for him and his family to snorkel while on their trip.
Mike has been sailing for many years and never considered diving until
this trip. Many of Mike’s sailing friends also dive and couldn’t
understand his lack of interest.
Mike was inspired by his wife to try something new
and he quietly made arrangements with Judy to purchase Open Water
lessons as a gift for his wife. He surprised his wife with the plan for
both of them to take lessons.
Mike quickly began continuing his diving education and his
experiences. He has taken several diving trips which include Cozumel, Turks &
Caicos, Curacao, Cabo, Saba, Statia and St Kitts. He has many more places to
explore, including diving in the BVIs. |

Mike looks to share his passion and training in diving with
others as a PADI Instructor. He looks forward to working with divers at all
levels and hopes to share some great experiences on future trips.
