I love scuba diving so much, I actually signed up for my open water class before learning to swim.  Needless to say, I took swimming classes and the rest was history.  After my wife and I became open water diver certified, we started diving around Texas.  However, nothing prepared us for our first blue water dive!  After that long weekend in Cozumel, we both knew that diving would be a centerpiece of our life and our marriage.

We started working at a scuba shop, progressed through to our dive master certifications and last year, I became an Open Water Scuba Instructor.

What do I like the most about the scuba diving profession?  It's being underwater with these magnificent animals, the peacefulness and the feeling of freedom.  But most importantly, for me to be given the privilege and honor to impart to my students the knowledge and skill to dive so they too can enjoy the underwater world as much as I do.
