I received my open water certification in 1996 while attending college.   Over the next several years, I did very little diving due to a lack of dive buddies.  In July 2006, I decided to get back into scuba by taking a rescue class in hopes of improving my diving skills and meeting new people with whom I could buddy. 

After completing that class and meeting a lot of great people at We-B-Divin', I wanted to continue my diving education and entered the Divemaster program.  A year later, after a lot of work and fun, I received my Divemaster certification in August 2007.  Now my goal is to take some of the specialty courses that I am interested in, to continue developing my diving knowledge. 

In the future, I would like to take my training to the next level and become an instructor.  Oh yea…I want to go on some scuba trips too!
